I love to create wedding images that when you look at them in a year or five years or ten years, you will be transported right back to that magical day. I deliver images preserved in a beautiful album that your friends are going to look at and wish that their wedding day had been as amazing as yours.
Unfortunately right now, many couples aren't getting the magical day that they had been dreaming about and planning. But that shouldn't mean that your wedding day isn't your perfect day. In the end, whether your wedding is delayed and things shaken up, or you have to change the plans and cut it to the bare minimum of your very closest friends and family...your wedding day is still the day you marry your best friend. And no matter what the day looks like, it is the beginning of your love story, of your new family. That is not to say that it isn't okay to feel disappointed, sad, angry...whatever emotion you may feel is okay! I am sure that I would feel the same! But if you can remember that in the end you will be married and that all the other stuff doesn't really matter, I think you will be happier and have a stronger marriage in the long run.
I am absolutely crushed for anyone who has to change their wedding plans, but I pray that you can focus on the fact that all that really matters is that you are married. I long for the days when things go back to being able to gather together to celebrate love and marriage, but until then I will focus on love and the positive memories of weddings past and look forward to the ones in the future! We will get through this and be able to celebrate again...we just have to have faith and patience.
With much love and hope,
Kim
