Wow, does time fly. They always say the hours are long but the days are short. You don't want to miss a second of capturing those special milestones during the first year. The times that you especially want to capture are newborn, 6 months and 1 year. Newborn is the most fleeting, when they are sleepy and squishy and you can pose them so sweetly for photos. Six months is a special time when they are sitting up and showing off their gummy grins, and it is basically the only time in life when you actually want to have all the rolls! With the first birthday, there is nothing like the cake smash to celebrate a birthday (but make sure that you offer cake 1-2x before the cake smash photos so that baby is "into it").
